Professional Fitness Concepts

Situation:

Professional Fitness Concepts (PFC) provides name brand fitness equipment, service, preventative maintenance programs and expert consultation to park districts, multi-housing communities, schools, municipalities, hotels and health clubs. After launching a successful Search Engine Marketing (SEM) program that was needed to retool their online equipment sites for commercial and residential clients, we developed a sales marketing strategy for their brick and mortar clients (park districts, municipalities, hotels, health clubs and schools).

JB Chicago developed an online e-commerce application and program as well as an integrated marketing program for the brick and mortar segment to emphasize PFC’s strengths as a provider of service and preventative maintenance programs. We wanted to continue to stress the quality and variety of name brand equipment that the company offers to commercial and residential consumers.

In January 2008, JB Chicago and PFC executed the recommended tactical plan, which has resulted in increased awareness about their products and services. In addition, the online e-commerce program has increased revenue while the tradeshows have proven to be the bread and butter of reaching decision makers from each brick and mortar segment in order to generate leads. The implementation of a cross-sell plan has streamlined the sales process from service and preventative maintenance programs into sales of fitness equipment.
